Thanks for the note! I’ve edited the “Cloud Object Storage” section in the post. However, since S3/GCS still don’t support multiple range download within a single request, the concurrent download query amplification doesn’t go away.

The idea of reusing nodes of Computation tree as Storage does mention that multiple columns should be downloadable with a single request.
